The faint outlined ball on the diagram is the ghost ball — aim your cue ball straight at it and the object ball goes in the pocket.
The Setup
Diagonal shot from the lower half of the table up through center to the far corner. Pocket the OB at pocket speedPocket speedJust enough speed to roll the OB into the pocket cleanly. — slow enough that even a partially blocked pocket (a chapstick on the edge) still accepts the ball.
Technique
Straight through center, soft pace. The slower you hit it, the larger the pocket plays.
