  • Cue ball

3 diamonds off the head rail, ½ a diamond off the right rail

  • Object ball

1 diamond off the head rail, ½ a diamond off the right rail

  • Target pocket

    Top-right corner pocket

  • Cut angle

⅝-ball cut(27° off the pocket line)

The faint outlined ball on the diagram is the ghost ball — aim your cue ball straight at it and the object ball goes in the pocket.

The Setup

Rail-line cut into the corner; cue ball takes the natural angle off the short rail and lands in the center of the table.

Technique

Center-ball or a touch of follow, medium pace. No forced english — let the natural mirror rebound do the work.

What it teaches

Reading natural rebound angles without relying on english.
