Rack the Shot

  • Cue ball

    4 diamonds off the foot rail, 1.5 diamonds off the left rail

  • Object ball

    On the right rail, 4 diamonds from the TR corner pocket

  • Target pocket

    Right side pocket

  • Cut angle

    Straight (full ball)(0° off the pocket line)

The faint outlined ball on the diagram is the ghost ball — aim your cue ball straight at it and the object ball goes in the pocket.

The Setup

Straight-in cut to the side pocket. After contact the cue ball nips the near long rail and floats diagonally back to the upper middle of the table.

Technique

Stun with a touch of follow; medium pace. The tangent walks the CB into a clean rail-and-out for upper-middle shape.

Side-pocket cut paired with single-rail tangent shape into the upper middle.
