  • Cue ball

3 diamonds off the head rail, 2 diamonds off the left rail

  • Object ball

On the right rail, 3 diamonds from the TR corner pocket

  • Target pocket

    Right side pocket

  • Cut angle

Thin cut(68° off the pocket line)

The faint outlined ball on the diagram is the ghost ball — aim your cue ball straight at it and the object ball goes in the pocket.

The Setup

Pocket the OB in the side and wrap the cue ball around three rails — short rail, far long rail, near long rail — to land down by the foot end of the right rail.

Technique

Running english with follow, firm pace. The wrap pattern only holds if the english carries through every rebound.

What it teaches

Multi-rail wrap pattern coming out of a side-pocket cut.
