Rack the Shot

  • Cue ball

4 diamonds off the foot rail, 2 diamonds off the left rail

  • Object ball

4 diamonds off the foot rail, ½ a diamond off the right rail

  • Target pocket

    Right side pocket

  • Cut angle

Straight (full ball)(0° off the pocket line)

The faint outlined ball on the diagram is the ghost ball — aim your cue ball straight at it and the object ball goes in the pocket.

The Setup

Run six object balls one at a time into the side pocket. After each ball, the cue ball must return to the center of the table for the next setup.

Technique

Smooth cut into the side; cue ball takes a multi-rail loop and dies in the center each rep.

What it teaches

Repeatable side-pocket pocketing with consistent CB position. The drill that builds break-and-run discipline.
