Rack the Shot

  • Cue ball

2 diamonds off the head rail, 2 diamonds off the left rail

  • Object ball

1 diamond off the head rail, ½ a diamond off the right rail

  • Target pocket

    Top-right corner pocket

  • Cut angle

¾-ball cut(23° off the pocket line)

The faint outlined ball on the diagram is the ghost ball — aim your cue ball straight at it and the object ball goes in the pocket.

The Setup

Pocket the OB in the corner with draw and send the cue ball three rails — short, far long, near long — ending down by the foot end of the right rail.

Technique

Low draw plus running english, firm pace. The draw spin drives the multi-rail path.

What it teaches

Three-rail draw shape — sustained pattern across the full table.
