Rack the Shot

  • Cue ball

3 diamonds off the head rail, 1.5 diamonds off the left rail

  • Object ball

2 diamonds off the head rail, 1.5 diamonds off the right rail

  • Target pocket

    Top-right corner pocket

  • Cut angle

Straight (full ball)(2° off the pocket line)

The faint outlined ball on the diagram is the ghost ball — aim your cue ball straight at it and the object ball goes in the pocket.

The Setup

Cue ball starts in the middle of the table, just left of the center vertical line. Cut the OB into the far corner and wrap the cue ball off the short rail near the pocket and the far long rail back to the middle of the table where it started — ready for the next ball.

Technique

Above-center with running english, firm pace. The english keeps each rebound angle open so the cue ball wraps cleanly back to the side-pocket area.

What it teaches

Multi-rail position planning — sending the CB the long way around and landing it back where you started.
